Training of students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Nahda University, Beni Suef General Hospital

Under the patronage of Prof. Suad Abdel-Khaliq, Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Dalal Abu El-Ela, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Nahda University, Prof. Hamdi Abdel-Rahman, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Nahda University, Dr. Hani Hammam, Director of the General Hospital, in collaboration with Dr. Iman Abu Ouf, Deputy Director of Quality, Department of Health. As part of the efforts of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Al Nahda University to develop students and develop their scientific abilities, the College has signed an agreement with Beni Suef General Hospital to train its students in the hospital In clinical pharmacy skills.

Where the training activities began from Monday 29 January 2018 to Tuesday, 8 February 2018 under the title role of clinical pharmacist, the hospital has
The training was overseen by Iman Mustafa, Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics and Clinical Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Al Nahda University, and 11 students from the Faculty of Pharmacy were trained as a first batch.

The training included an intensive program consisting of theoretical lectures and practical application through direct contact with patients within the various sections as follows:

The first day Monday, 29/1/2018

 

 

How to get informations and type of resources? - Introduction about DIC and how to answer DIR. - How to made reference review? - How to file patient file in follow up sheet?

 

Second day Tuesday, 30/1/2018

 

 

Teaching lectures and training were given in practice in the Department of Care

(How to deal with patients in ICU from admission to discharge ? - Stress ulcer prophylaxis -Dvt prophylaxis)

 

The third day Wednesday, 31/1/2018

 

 

 A lecture was given on Intracranial hemorrhage

 

 Training was conducted in the Icu Post-Operative section

 

 

Fourth day Thursday, 1/2/2018

 

 

Lectures were given on factors affecting on selection of antibiotics in pediatrics

Training was conducted in the Children's Section

 

The fifth day Sunday, 4/2/2018

 

 

Lectures were given on Respiratory distress and jaundice in NICU - Neonatal intensive care unit

Training was carried out in the incubation section

 

The sixth day Monday, 5/2/2018

 

 

Lectures on Acute coronary syndrome (i.v calculations)

Training has been done in heart and catheter care

 

Seventh Day Tuesday, 6/2/2018

 

 

Lectures on Pediatrics resuscitation - hepatic correction doses in pediatrics in picu unit.

Training was conducted in the PICU section

 

 

In addition to doing a test for trainee students and evaluating them. At the end of this training, the students received certificates from the director of the Beni Suef General Hospital, Dr. Hany Hammam, with Dr. Iman Abu Auf and Ms. Eman Mustafa. Dr. Dalal Abou El Ela, Dean of the Faculty, honored the students.
