Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Seddik Afifi, President of Al Nahda University, Eng. Mohammed Al Rashidi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Suad Abdul Khaliq, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Sadiq, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. Awareness of the students of the Faculty of Engineering about the general work and to publish what the Engineering and Science Club in the Faculty of Engineering presented to the Egyptian society, the Engineering and Science Club organized a visit to the Egyptian Society of Engineers to consolidate the joint cooperation between Al-Nahda University and Al- Egyptian yen at the kind invitation of Eng. Farouk Al-Hakim, head of the Division of Electricity Engineers Association of Egyptian Engineers, on Tuesday, February 27th, 2018.
Eng. Farouk El Hakim, Head of the Electrical Engineering Division of the Egyptian Engineering Association, said during his meeting with the delegation representing the Engineering and Science Club that is composed of students of the faculties of engineering, computer sciences and pharmacy at the University of Nahda. He welcomed the exchange of visits that strengthen the relationship between the students and the Society of Engineers. The delegation has the role of the association with the engineers of Egypt before and after graduation.
The delegation was accompanied by Eng. Asma Selim, Eng. Safaa Mohammed, Eng. Mohamed Ragab, lecturers at the Department of Communication and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Eng. Lydia George, Eng. Basma Abdel Hakim, Engineering Engineer, Dina Alaa, Engineer Dina Adly, Faculty of Engineering.
It is worth mentioning that the program of the day of the visit included several lectures corresponding to the events of the hour, where Dr. Ibrahim Yassin, Executive Chairman of the project to improve energy efficiency lecture on the project, and Dr. Ali Abdul Rahman, Vice President of Nuclear Power Plants previously lecture on nuclear energy and applications in the generation of electric power, The program concluded with a lecture by Dr. Sameh Nomani, a renewable energy consultant, on ways to generate electricity from renewable resources such as solar and wind.
At the end of the visit, the students expressed their gratitude for the visit and benefited from the various lectures.
